Child Abuse Reporting

  • First step - Call LaRue County Sheriff ((270) 358-3120) or Hodgenville Police ( (270) 358-3013) or at 911, They will assess the situation and take necessary steps like contacting the Child Protective Services (Protection & Permanency) 

  • Call second, or for anonymous reporting - Regional Reporting - (Centralized Intake - Salt River Region) 1-888-403-5090. Request a reference number, Call back within 24 hours to find out if the report is “accepted” and meets the criteria for action. If the report is "accepted", social workers will begin the investigative process to determine is the report is “substantiated.”
