1918 - Missions Giving Increased in the midst of World War I
1921 - $310 given to missions (more than the pastor’s annual salary)
1924 - Women's Missionary Society (WMS) organized
1977 - First Mission Trip to Tellico, TN
Short term mission trips began domestically in 1977, eventually spreading to at least 24 states (Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, West Virginia, and Wyoming) and 9 countries (Russia, Canada, Ireland, Haiti, Iraq, Mexico, Ghana, China, and India) with over 100 total mission trips to date. Initial trips are focused on church construction needs but quickly we had opportunities for evangelism, discipleship,
